Captivating Holiday Re-count Writing.
WALT: write captivating re-counts.
For the past week or so room 5 has been learning and writing about their holidays. Instead of writing boring words such as 'In the holidays I' we had to make more interesting sentences and give vivid detail. This is what I wrote.

I really like your post about captivating holiday recount writing because you explained what you saw, heared, tasted, smelled and felt. I also like it because you put pictures that matched what you were explaining. How long did it take you to finish your recount.
