Captivating Holiday Re-count Writing.

WALT: write captivating re-counts. For the past week or so room 5 has been learning and writing about their holidays. Instead of writing boring words such as 'In the holidays I' we had to make more interesting sentences and give vivid detail. This is what I wrote.
Reflection: Maybe next time I could put a little bit more effort and shorten down the sentences.

  1. Hi, Samantha my name is Ashlyn and I am a year 6 from Paihia School. I really like your post about captivating holiday recount writing because you explained what you saw, heared, tasted, smelled and felt. I also like it because you put pictures that matched what you were explaining. How long did it take you to finish your recount.

  2. Hi Samantha I am Savitri a year six student from Paihia School. I liked your Captivating Recount - Holiday post and how you described your experiences with the help of 5 senses. The part that I liked the most is how you described it with the help of pictures and giving details of what you saw, you heard, you tasted and you smelled.

    Hope you enjoyed your Holiday??
